The Bark Avenue Inn was born out of our lifelong love for dogs and our firsthand understanding of the care, trust, and responsibility that goes into their well-being. Having grown up with dogs and currently sharing our lives with them, we know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pup. This personal connection shapes every aspect of what we do, from our warm and welcoming environment to the personalized attention we provide for each furry guest.

What sets us apart from others, is our communal sleeping arrangements to reflect our commitment to the social and mental well-being of the dogs in our care. A truly cage-free environment by fostering a pack-like atmosphere, we create a sense of comfort, security, and connection that helps your dog feel right at home. Whether it’s playtime or bedtime, your pup is never alone, surrounded by loving care and canine companionship.

We’re also proud to be a WOOF—a Woman-Owned and Operated Facility. For some, this adds an extra layer of connection and trust, knowing you’re supporting a woman-led small business dedicated to excellence in pet care.

We are both canine and feline CPR and first Aid certified and an added benefit of possessing a veterinary technician background, a role held many years ago but with knowledge that still rests close to the heart. This experience equips us with a deeper understanding of canine health, behavior, and safety, ensuring the highest level of care for every dog.

From our diverse professional experiences, from small business entrepreneurship to corporate business operations, education, customer service and training, all coupled together have allowed us to build a unique business rooted in love, expertise, and community.
